Here at LeagueSide, we want to keep youth sports families informed and calm during the Coronavirus Epidemic. We’ve curated a few of the best articles that we’ve seen and summarized them for easy consumption.

Dr. Angela N. Baldwin and Dr. Melanie R. Graber breaks down the best way to explain the new COVID-19 to your children.

  • Evaluate the situation — see how much they already know and how it makes them feel
  • Be open and available for questions, allow expression of feelings and how to cope
  • Remind your children to wash their hands properly, scrubbing for 20 seconds with warm water and soap
  • Know resources and where to get help. This can be very stressful
