National Girls & Women in Sports Day (Feb. 1) is a day focused on celebrating the power of women in sports. Participation in sports can shape a young female athlete’s future—from life lessons to important skills like teamwork, determination and consistency. This past year was the celebration of Title IX’s 50th celebration so think of this year as the beginning of another 50-plus years of equal access, opportunities and inspiration for future generations.

In celebration of this day, check out some of TeamSnap’s most inspirational girls and women in sports stories. These inspirational videos to encourage our community of young female athletes to continue in sports, feel empowered, celebrate the inner and outer strength you get from sports, and see a preview of what an athletic career could look like!
